Staying or living at KAIYU

We provide condominium style accommodations, you can stay only for one night, a week, or we encourage to stay longer, like living this place instead of just "come & go". All rooms faced to south and ocean view, with mini kitchen.

We want to provide you the experience of living here, this TOSA SHIMIZU village and enjoy the feeling of Japanese village. "Environment-friendly also human-friendly facility" is our policy. We value the power of nature, trying not to rely on the artificial conveniency, and live "with" the nature as much as possible. We love fresh clean air here, so all are smoking free space. We want to enjoy the seasonal wind, cold and warm, so put some ideas when we make our facilities in order not to rely on air conditioning.

We hope you can have a simple, relaxing time at KAIYU. We believe the time reflecting yourself in the beautiful nature at here will be a great boon to you and your family.

Rates

Room rates varies from ¥7,000 to ¥23,000 excluding meals. On top of the base room charge, plus one guest will require another ¥2,500 (i.e. If you stay at ¥7,000 room with two persons, then it will be ¥9,500. For three, ¥12,000）.

During summer time (July 10th to end of September), end of the year & new year, Japanese "Golden Week" holiday (end April - early May), we require additional ¥500 per night, per person.

　We love pets! Pet rooms are available. One pet will require ¥2,500 per night.
　Wi-Fi access is available in some rooms. Using Wi-Fi access in your room require ¥1,000 per night.
　We have some rooms without TV, some rooms without Air-conditioner. For that rooms we discount ¥1,000 per night.
　We offer some discount when you stay more than three nights (excluding high season). Please contact us.

Room

We have two rooms in the hot spring facility, using local wood and wall papers. We also have condominium facility which used to be a "resort" condo back in 80's and we renovated more than 20 rooms by our selves using organic materials.

Room owner system

We offer "room owner" system with which you can stay 30 nights per year, for 20 years. We prioritize room owner reservations, they can select their preferable date and rooms. Please contact us if you are interested in.
